This is a fully guided and all-inclusive tour designed for couples, friends, and families. The transport, Toyota Crysta car, starting from pick up in Chandigarh airport till the drop at the same point is included and remains on disposal. All Meals during the trip. Accommodation is preferably in homestays or boutique hotels. It is graded as a Soft Adventure and Leisure Walking Holiday. There are no strenuous walks or steep hikes. This program is for those interested in interviewing Nature sitting next to it. During this Walking experience, in Shimla, you will be staying in hotels/homestays which are away from the madding crowd. Day 1 : Drive From Chandigarh To Shimla

Welcome to India! Our representative will meet you outside Chandigarh from where our representative will pick you up and drive to Shimla. It is a four hours uphill travel to this hidden hill station in the lap of the Himalayan foothills. This British Himalayan Town was designed and set up by the British officers for themselves as a retreat. Later it became a sanatarium and then the Summer Capital of British India.
On arrival check into the hotel/homestay.
Day 2 : Shimla Heritage Walk

Shimla is Walker's paradise. Many people coming to Shimla regret if they miss it, so we keep here two nights for you so that you can walk through the Heritage Lanes of Shimla with your guide. There are beautiful Churches, A Viceregal Lodge now called the Institute of Advanced Study, the Army Heritage Museum, Annandale Ground, the Gaiety theater, and of course The Mall Road - a busy street but meant only for pedestrians.
Day 3 : Forest Walk

We drive for 16 kilometers to the North of Shimla to Charabara. There are a number of ‘Dhabas’ – the roadside restaurants here. This nature walk takes you around a Hill and passing near the President's Retreat descends to the venue of the Sipi Fair, held here every year in the month of May. The view of Shali Peak across the valley invites you to climb it. The slopes are peppered with a number of houses, villages, orchards, and fields. This shady trail takes about 3 to 4 hours to bring you to the road where a village school for primary classes is the landmark for the driver to meet us.
Day 4 : Walk Through The Eco Zone Of Shimla

This is a blend of Art, Culture, and Nature. A mixture of uphill and downhill walking experiences in Shimla brings you close to many natural aspects. Forests, meadows, grasslands, and hamlets are the main features.
Day 5 : A Day With A Royal Family
Location: Arki
Accommodation: Hotel, Homestay

The valley to the west from the Viceregal Lodge dips and the forest begins, generally of White Himalayan Oak, and extends towards Arki to the west of Shimla. During the Raj, this forest became the hunting ground for the Viceroy. Every weekend the Viceroy and his aristocrats visited this area and camped in the forest for hunting.
We drive for fifteen kilometres to follow the Hunting Trail through the virgin forest. An eight km walk brings us to a rivulet from where we are picked up to drive to the principality of Arki. Here the host from the Royal family waits for us on lunch.
Day 6 : Drive To Chandigarh Airport
Location: Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh

After breakfast, we shall drive back to Chandigarh to board a flight to your next destination.

What documents will I receive before I travel?
Your itinerary, Name of the hotels will be sent to you through email. The rest of all the documents, such as tickets, and vouchers will be carried by your eescort. You do not have to worry about them. Because the tour is fully escorted so the tour manager shall take care of it.
