The reed islands are made by weaving these material in the places where it grows thicker and forming a natural layer. The Uros people built their houses of totora too and cook outdoors to prevent possible fires. This place has circa 90 funerary towers built by the Kolla culture, an Aymara community developed before the Inca Empire. A lot of mummies have been found inside these towers, including important people as priests, leaders and nobles. They were previously mummified and were places as fetal position, along with all their belongings such as gold, silver and ceramics. The state of conservation of these burial towers is impressive, all of them were made with stones with varying shapes that fix each other perfectly. The architecture and engineering used by the Kolla culture was quite advance for its time. Some of them are 12 meters’ high, where the Lagarto Chullpa is the tallest and most representative tower. The Sillustani tour continues with the visit to a local family that breeds Alpacas and they will show us how they process and cook their own food, their lifestyle, their looms and how they maintain ancestral customs. I went on Tangol's full day walking tour of Buenos Aires and Sylvia was a very knowledgeable guide who clearly has a passion for sharing the cultural, social and political stories of Buenos Aires and how each of the neighborhoods visited help tell that story. It was a great (and well-planned) overview of BA.

24-Mar-2024

We are Argentine soccer fans and asked Tangol if they have a tour package in Rosario that includes visits to places related to Lionel Messi, like his birth house and the soccer field (potrero) he played on in childhood. Though Tangol does not have such a package, they tailored a 1-day tour based on our requests for my family (4 persons) with air tickets between Buenos Aires and Rosario, a private minivan + a tour guide in Rosario. The Tangol contact person sent detailed information, including emergency contact, a couple of days before the tour day. Using WhatsApp, she responded promptly and precisely. In Rosario, the tour guide spoke perfect American English. He was friendly to all of us, and we felt comfortable talking to him and asking him many questions. He was knowledgeable about all the places we visited and answered our questions very nicely. That was the best tour of my life!

A tad expensive for football, but a good service and availability for anything you have to do in Buenos Aires! Would recommend. We went on a great tour to watch racing club against belgrano and apart for the amazing atmosphere, our guide Martin was tremendous! We would recommend using tangol to others.

This was one of the best tours I have done in a long time. It was so well organized with friendly, knowledgeable staff and so accommodating to our needs. We are a Hospitality & Tourism group and the way they dealt with us was just excellent!!. We saw a vineyard and a winery, did cooking classes, attended tango show, visited historical sites and so much more. Whatever was aligned to our requirements , we did it!! I highly recommend this Agency. You get such a memorable experience and then some. Thank you Tangol and Jessica!!! Thanks to Camillo in Santiago , Chile and Augustin, Franco, the drivers like Brian in Argentina.......Great Job!!!

That was very nice! The operator was super fast and friendly. I confused dates and booked my trip at a wrong date, but I was informed immediately and my booking details were adjusted. The guide was also nice, spoke very clear, gave valuable information regarding the places we visited. Thank you!

Booked an Argentinos Junior football game at the Maradona Stadium tour package with Tangol. They were very responsive and answered all questions. Transfer is included from office to game, and then game back to your hotel. You have an english speaking guide with you the whole time. We even got to go on the football pitch after the game which was awesome! So while the price is more expensive than compared to you buying a ticket on your own. However, if you don''t speak Spanish and want everything taken care of, I'd highly recommend Tangol to take care of everything for you as I didn't have to worry about anything. This was exactly what I was looking for! to experience a South America football game! Would recommend!

25-Mar-2024

Tangol arranged a special one day tour for our family to visit Rosario, the home town of the famous Argentina soccer players like Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria. We could visit many places (e.g., Messi's birth house, school, and the soccer field, Museo del Deporte Santafesino, Estadios Rosario Central y Newell's Old Boys, etc.) and take many pitcures. Tangol arranged a tour guide and a mini-van driver for us. They were waiting for us at the airport. They were very friendly and also knowledgeable, so we enjoyed talking with them. This special tour was the one of best tours for us.

Do not use this company....

23-Dec-2023

Do not use this company. On December 19, 2023, my parents went on the Iguazu Falls tour from Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, using this company. The driver they sent scammed my elderly parents, along with many others in the bus, out of an additional $10 USD per person by making them wait in the vehicle while he went to buy the park tickets. He stripped them of the opportunity to go buy the tickets themselves. This scam involved forcing my parents, along with others in the bus, to pay cash at an exchange rate of 175 Portugese Reais, which works out to approximately $35 USD for each park ticket when it should have been around $25 USD. I asked this company four times for the name and phone number of the driver but they refuse to provide the information. Furthermore, the driver then made each person pay an additional 5 Reais on the way back, claiming it was to pay for some additional fee. Lastly, this booking was done for an 8 am tour departure. The company then sent us an email stating 7:40 am pick-up, which was fine. However, the driver showed up at the hotel at 7:10 am while my mother was still eating breakfast telling her to get moving or he would leave them behind. This is the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with and even to this moment they refuse to provide the driver's information to us because are protecting his scam from the police. I petitioned Viator for a refund for at least one of the tickets but this Tangol company lied to them stating that my parents chose to do the conversion at a much higher market exchange rate with the driver. I hope others that were in the same bus come forward.
