During the peak trekking season in Nepal, from September to November and March to May, flights to Lukla may occasionally be redirected from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport to Ramechhap Manthali Airport. This redirection is necessary due to congestion at the domestic airport and high demand for Lukla flights. Rest assured, Travel Max Guides handles the diversion process with utmost care to minimize any disruptions to your trekking plans. Additionally, during peak trekking seasons such as March, April, October, and November, there may be flight diversions to Manthali, Ramechhap. In such cases, you will be flown to Manthali and then travel by sharing vehicle for approximately 4-5 hours to reach Kathmandu.
