Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels & City Tour (B,L,D)

In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a sightseeing tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore the infamous Cu Chi Tunnel, an immense network of underground tunnels used by the Vietcong as a military base.
After lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh City to visit major sights including Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh City - Minh Dam Secret Zone - Vung Tau (B,L,D)

Today we will visit some major sites from the Vietnam War.
During the war Long Hai Hill, known as Minh Dam secret zone, was the Viet Cong's base area. This area was the major battlefield between the Viet Cong and Australian diggers.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Check in and freshen up at our hotel enjoy an included dinner with your guide and fellow travellers.
Overnight in the seaside town of Vung Tau.
Day 4 : Long Tan - Nui Dat Tour (B,L,D)

Today we learn about the battle of Long Tan where the Australian (ANZAC) military engaged in the Vietnam War.
Visit important sites from the battle including Long Tan Cross, the Long Phuoc tunnels, Horseshoe FSB, and Nui Dat (SAS hill).
Return to your hotel in Vung Tau to freshen up before enjoying your included dinner

Day 5 : Vung Tau - Ho Chi Minh - Dong Hoi - Vinh Moc Tunnel (B,L,D)

Today we will transfer to Tan San Nhat airport for a short domestic flight to Dong Hoi. In the afternoon visit Vinh Moc Tunnels and Khe Sanh Combat Base. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 6 : Phong Nha Secret Route (B,L,D)

In the morning transfer to a trekking point in Phong Nha. Trek the 'Secret Route', a track used by soldiers that was hidden from the Americans. Enjoy a BBQ lunch before trekking back to the start via a different route. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 7 : Dong Hoi - Hanoi Cyclo Tour (B,D)

Today we will travel to Hanoi via domestic flight. Check in your Hanoi Hotel then enjoy one hour Cyclo Tour around Hanoi Old Quarter before we have dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8 : Hanoi City Tour (B,L)

Spend your morning to discover the stately Hanoi. Begin your day with an insight into the life of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's most respected revolutionary leader. Visit his mausoleum, house on stilt, the Presidential Palace and the historic One Pillar Pagoda. Then set foot to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university originally built as a temple to Confucius.
After lunch, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology, one of Vietnam's top museum. Later enjoy the unique Water Puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is undergoing maintenance by an Russian expert.
Day 9 : Hanoi - Dien Bien (B,L,D)

After breakfast, check out your hotel then take a short domestic flight to Dien Bien. There you will visit the war sites of A1 Hill, the French Tunnel and Dien Bien Museum on the next day.

Start the day with a visit to the war sites of Dien Bien, starting with A1 Hill and the battlegrounds of Dien Bien. Continue onto the French Tunnels before visiting the Dien Bien Museum. Overnight in Dien Bien.
Day 11 : Dien Bien - Hanoi (B,L)

Today we will return to Hanoi via a short domestic flight. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)

Your transfer vehicle will then collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and convey you to Hai Phong.
You will be taken on our tender boat from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxury cruise where you will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink.
After our compulsory safety procedure session you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.
A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favourites will be served.
We set sail for Lan Ha Bay passing by Da Chong Islet where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.
When lunch is about to finish, the cruise has completed its entry through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay). The area is surrounded by a lot extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Guests can start their journey with a visit to Bai Tu Long Bay and visit the floating villages from a smaller day boat.
Back to the main boat and we will cruise to a place for our overnight stay.
Happy Hour, with special drink menu (Buy one get another one for free), is available before dinner.
Just prior to dinner our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.
Dinner is onboard in our restaurant.
After dinner you will have free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range of wines, beers and liquors and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on the bay.
Order a Spa Service or take any activities onboard such as watching documentary movies, squid fishing or simply relax on our roof top deck under the cover of a star filled sky.

Day 13 : Halong Bay (B,L,D)

The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the early morning.
Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
A light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
Explore Lan Ha Bay. Bike to Viet Hai village, stop at some local houses, chat with local hosts.
Have lunch on boat.
After lunch, kayaking or swimming at Three Peach Beach.
Back to cruise ship late afternoon.

Day 14 : Halong Bay - Hanoi (B,L,D)

Enjoy the last stage of your trip in Thien Canh Son cave and islets, which has a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
Return to our main boat afterwards and check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.
After a final early lunch, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
In the evening, enjoy our special Farewell Dinner.
