Day 1 : Tokyo Arrival (D)

You will arrive at International Airport and and be greeted by your driver who will transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Please note: Hotel check-in at 2pmOnce you arrive at the hotel, you will have some time to settle in and freshen up. Later in the evening, you will meet other travelers who are on the same trip as you in the hotel lobby. You will be introduced to our tour guide, who will brief you on the itinerary for the next three days.After the briefing, you will head out for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant nearby. This will be a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and your tour guide, and to try some delicious local cuisine.Overnight in Tokyo
Day 2 : Ancient & Modern Tokyo (B,L)

Today we discover the fascinating city of Tokyo, a perfect blend of ancient traditions and modernity. Our day begins with a leisurely stroll through Meiji Park, followed by a visit to the majestic Meiji Shrine. As we approach the shrine, we will learn how to purify ourselves and offer prayers to the gods, according to the Japanese tradition.Next up is a private tea ceremony, a centuries-old cultural activity that involves the preparation and presentation of Matcha tea using symbolic utensils. This meditative Zen ritual is sure to leave you feeling calm and centered.After indulging in an authentic Japanese lunch, we will embark on a journey to some of Tokyo's must-see sights, including the Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple, and Nakamise Shopping District. Along the way, we will enjoy a short and delightful cruise on the Sumida River, which will give us a different perspective of the city.

Day 3 : Tokyo Free Day (B)

Today, enjoy a free day in Tokyo to explore this gigantic city on your own.
Day 4 : Tokyo - Mt Fuji / Hakone (B,L,D)

Today, we will travel to the iconic Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest mountain. Drive up to Mt Fuji's Fifth Station and enjoy the above views of the summit. Then cruise on the pristine Lake Ashi and ride on the Komagadake Ropeway which boasts a beautiful view over the Hakone National Park.
Travel onwards to Hakone, one of Japan's best destinations for onsen, or thermal hot springs. At your luxury ryokan, enjoy a full-course Kaiseki dinner and have a hot spring bath against the magnificent Mt Fuji backdrop.
Day 5 : Fuji - Takayama (B,D)

Today, you will be transferred to Odawara Station. Take the Shinkansen to Nagoya, then change to the Hida Limited Express train for Takayama.
On your arrival in Takayama, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy your free afternoon in Takayama. Enjoy your dinner at the Ryokan with famous local Hida beef, one of the best kinds of wagyu beef.
Day 6 : Takayama City Tour (B, L, D)

The day starts with a relaxing visit to the Morning Market. Then your guide will take you to the Takayama Jinya, which was a government office that was under the direct control of the Tokugawa Shogunate. From there you will have the chance to explore some other notable sites in the city. The Takayama Yatai (floats) Kaikan Museum features elaborately decorated floats, which are over 700 years old. The Yatai demonstrates the legendary craftsmanship of Takayama.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Kusakabe Heritage House, which is one of the oldest merchant homes in Takayama. Explore Sanmachi Suji one of the three Old Town streets that have survived in a beautiful state.
Day 7 : Shirakawago Ancient Village Tour - Gokayama - Kanazawa (B,L)

This morning, we will explore the historic village of Shirakawago, a World Heritage Site famous for its traditional thatched gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which dates back more than 250 years ago. Then venture to the Gokayama region to learn about the traditional Japanese papermaking before travelling to Kanazawa.
On your arrival in Kanazawa, enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 8 : Kanazawa City Tour (B,L)

Discover Japan’s fascinating samurai heritage at Nagamachi Samurai District where samurai and their families used to reside. Stroll the atmospheric streets admiring the earthen walled residences, pretty gates, narrow lanes and canals. Then step inside Nomura-ke, a restored samurai residence to enjoy a glimpse of the samurai's way of life.
Continue to the beautifully preserved historical area of Higashi Chaya-gai, once an entertainment and geisha district. Have a taste of the traditional Japanese sweets and refreshing tea at an old wooden chaya (teahouse).
This afternoon, pay a visit to 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, a starkly modern contrast to Kanazawa’s largely traditional cityscape. Finally, enjoy a fun and hands-on pottery and painting experience at the Kutani pottery kiln and discover the fine Japanese porcelain craftsmanship.
Day 9 : Kanazawa - Kenrokuen Garden - Kyoto (B)

Today, enjoy a tranquil visit to Kenrokuen Garden, one of the top three Japanese landscape gardens in Japan. Then take a shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto, Japan's spiritual heart.

Day 10 : Kyoto City Tour - Kaiseki Dinner With Geisha Experience (B,L,D)

Day 12 : Kyoto - Hiroshima (B)

From Kyoto, we will take the bullet train to Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, we will visit the Peace Memorial Park, which symbolizes the hope for a world without nuclear weapons. We will also be stopping by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which has detailed records of life after the atomic bomb was dropped.
In the afternoon we will explore Miyajima, an island near Hiroshima. Located on the island is Itsukushima Shrine, which is known for its large torii gate that is built in the sea.
Day 13 : Guntu Cruise Embarkation - Seto Inland Sea (B,L,D)

In the morning, you will be transferred to Bella Vista Marina to embark on the Guntu, one of the most exquisitely crafted and luxurious ship ever to set sail in Japan.
