Day 1 : Hanoi
Location: Hanoi
Our trip begins with a welcome dinner at our favourite restaurant in Hanoi. Meet your group and share a few drinks with your new travel mates.
Day 2 : Hanoi Foodie Tour
Location: Hanoi
One thing Vietnam is famous for is the diverse range of exotic food. Today we sample tasty, interesting food and local delicacies whilst getting to know our way around the city.
Day 3 : Halong Bay
Location: Hạ Long Bay
We cruise Halong Bay and stay overnight on a traditional “junk” boat. Take the opportunity to kayak through crystal clear waters past hundreds of lime stone karsts.
Day 4 : Island Stay
Location: Hạ Long Bay
Wake up and take a morning swim before we head over to our little beach paradise, hidden in the maze of Halong. Check in, grab lunch and r-e-l-a-x. Hammocks, kayaks, beach volley - it's all here.
Day 5 : Back To Hanoi
Location: Hanoi
Today we return to Hanoi from our private island stay. Spend the afternoon and evening at your lesiure.
Day 6 : Fly To Hoi An

Explore this beautiful town where life is amazingly laid-back with a city center perfect for relaxing, eating and shopping and a stunning beach a short bike ride away.
Day 7 : Cooking Class
Location: Hội An
Learn to cook the most delicious dishes in a private cooking class.
Day 8 : Hoi An + Overnight Bus
Location: Hội An
Spend today exploring the ancient Hoi An. Tonight our jounrey continues.
Day 9 : Ninh Vany Bay
Location: Ninh Van Bay
Today we reach paradise. Our day is spent trekking and exploring the rolling hills of Vietnams countryside.
Day 10 : Da Lat
Location: Dalat
Today we arrive into Da Lat for 48 hours of adrenaline adventure!
Day 11 : Canyoning And Waterfalls
Location: Dalat
Spark your adrenaline levels: abseil pounding waterfalls, slide down canyons & jump off cliffs - all on the agenda for today.
Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
We'll arrive in Vietnam‘s largest metropolitan city where people are always on the move and thousands of motor bikes throng the streets.
Day 13 : Cu Chi Tunnels
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
We'll visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the Vietnam War, which is still a big topic in the Vietnam we see today.
Day 14 : Farewell Vietnam
Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Travel insurance is compulsory for all ULTIMATE tours. Please ensure you have adequate coverage for any trip taken.

Am I contributing to any charity by booking the tour?
We are proud to support two fantastic charities empowering communities to be more self-sufficient. The Kiva Foundation provides interest free loans to people in remote communities who would like financial assistance for things such as education and improving their homes. Life Project Cambodia has a simple objective – they want to give communities in Cambodia the opportunity to create their own solutions to poverty. The work they do empowers the people in these communities to make the changes they need, rather than having to rely on others to do that for them promoting self-sufficiency.

Will I need vaccinations?
We recommend making an appointment with your GP to discuss which vaccinations may be required for your trip. There are no mandatory vaccinations for of our tours as the destinations we travel to are considered low risk. You should generally consult with your GP 4-6 weeks prior to your travels. Deciding whether to get vaccinated before you travel is a personal choice.

Who will be my group leader?
Our Group Leaders are responsible for making sure your experience travelling is the best it can possibly be! All 'Ultimate' branded tours are led by Group Leaders selected by Ultimate Travel. All 'Adventure', 'Experience' 'Camp' and 'Course' tours are led by our partner operators on the ground in the tours location.

Ultimate Adventure Travel allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform ultimate adventure travel, 28 days before departure.

Ultimate Adventure Travel requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 45 days before departure.

We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of ultimate adventure travel charges.
Up to 45 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.
At 28 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of booking price.
At 20 days before tour starts: Forfeit 50% of booking price.
