This 14 days Everest Base camp trek package is designed for all trekkers who would still like to visit Everest Base camp (6,364m). It also offers spectacular views of Mount Everest, other attractions like Kala Patthar (5,545m) (best viewpoint), Sagarmatha National Park, three towering peaks including; Mt Makalu, Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Cho Oyu) as well as the beautiful culture of the local Sherpas. Namche Bazaar, Phakding, Tengboche, and Dingboche are some of the main attractions of this 14 days Everest base camp Trek. The trek starts with a 33-minute scenic flight to Lukla in the Khumbu region. Walking through the Sherpa settlements, you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park and Namche Bazaar, the commercial and trading center in the Everest region. Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m) & transfer to hotel.
Location: Kathmandu

Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. From here you will be taken in a private vehicle to your hotel by Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative where you can rest or take a short walk around the Thamel area.
Day 2 : Fly to Lukla (2,804m) & trek to Phakding (2,610m) Duration: 4-5 hours.

Today, early in the morning, we will pick you from your hotel and drive you to the Tribhuvan Domestic Airport in Kathmandu. A quick, 35-minute flight from Kathmandu will take you to Lukla (2,804m), the gateway to the Everest Base Camp, and the starting point of this trek.
Walking through the Dudhkoshi River Valley, past various settlements such as Chheplung and Chaurikharka, before reaching Phakding Village. Enjoy great views of the mountains during the trek. It's a leisurely day with a gradual descend of approximately 200 meters from Lukla. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 3 : Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

After breakfast, we will follow the trail of the thundering Dudh Kosi River, cross numerous suspension bridges along the way. Trek past Monjo and Jorsalle villages until we reach Namche Bazaar (3,440m), a village in the mountains that is also the center of commerce in the Everest region. overnight stay at the Guesthouse.
Day 4 - Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.

Today we have a rest day in Namche and allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude. You have the option to hike to the nearby areas. The trading and administrative center of the Khumbu region, Namche Bazaar is home to various government offices, banks, ATm, cyber, plenty of shops and eateries.
One of the most interesting optional day hikes on our list is the one that takes you to Everest View Hotel, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Everest and other Himalaya peaks, After enjoying some time at the viewpoint we trek down to Namche Bazaar for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

We start our day with a quick ascend followed by a flat trail to reach Kyanjuma. Trek downhill from there to reach Phunki Tenga. Cross the Dudh Koshi River and climb up to reach Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Depending upon the weather and other factors, we might end your day in Tengboche or Pangboche.
Day 6 : Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m) Duration: 4-5 hours.

After having breakfast, we descend to Debuche before starting an uphill climb towards Pangboche Village. You can See Everest, Amadablam, and Nuptse mountains along the way. we will stop in Pangboche for tea before continuing to Dingboche for lunch. Trekking through the Imja Valley and cross Lobuche Stream before ascending to Dingboche (4,410m). We stay overnight at Teahouse.
Day 7 - Acclimatization day at Dingboche

Today is we have another rest day at Dingboche, The settlement of Dingboche is gorgeous, with fields and pastures flanked by stone mani walls. Visit the village or relax in your hotel and allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude before heading to a higher elevation. You can also participate in one of our optional hikes to Nangkartshang Peak or the Chhukung Valley. overnight stay at Guest house.
Day 8 : Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

From Dingboche, A difficult day with steep climbing awaits you. The day starts will a gradual climb up to Dughla, where we will stop for lunch. We need to have a Lunch at Thukla. we do not have another option before reaching Lobuche.
A steep climb from Thukla will take us to the popular memorial place of mountaineers such as Scott Fischer and Babu Chiri Sherpa. Enter the Khumbu Glacier area and follow the route to Lobuche (4,910m), where we will spend the night.
Day 9 : Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) & Back to Gorak Shep (5,180 m) Duration: 6-7 hours.

Today, The first part of the trail will take you to Gorakshep via the Khumbu Glacier. Drop your bags and enjoy your lunch in Gorakshep before heading to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,364m). The trail takes you through terrain strewn with rocks, moraines, streams, and a glacier. Arrive Everest Base Camp, located in the middle of the Khumbu Glacier we will spend some time at Base Camp and trek back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.
If the weather is good, we will hike up to Kala Patthar late in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset views. But it's not easy to cover Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar on the same day. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 10 : Hike Up to Kala Patthar (5,550m) & trek to Pangboche (3,900m) Duration: 8-9 hours.

From Gorakshep, early in the morning we hike up to Kala Patthar this famous landmark located above Gorakshep and enjoy amazing views of the mountains shining in the color of the morning sun.
the view from on top of Mt. Kalapathar certainly makes up for it. You will stand in awe at the mountains that ring you in all directions. We will definitely take the time to take pictures up here. Set your camera on panorama mode and shoot the most amazing pictures you have ever taken!
We will spend some time there before descending to Gorakshep. Grab your breakfast and start your trek downhill journey to Pangboche. Stay overnight at Teahouse.
Day 11 : Trek from pangboche to Namche (3440m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

After breakfast, Continue our journey downhill. Cross the Dudh Kosi River and make a steep climb to Kyanjuma. From this point on, the path is largely flat or downhill until you reach the headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park just above the Namche Bazar. We spend our night at Namche Bazaar.
Day 12 : Trek from Namche to Lukla (2,804 m) Duration: 6-7 hours.

Today is a long day on a downhill trail awaits you. The last day of EBC trek is full of steep descends along the Dudh Kosi River until you reach Phakding village for lunch. From Phakding, then we climb up to reach Lukla for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1350m) Duration: 30 minutes flight.

Today we will catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. Uma holiday travels & Tours representative will accompany you for a complimentary farewell dinner provided by the company in the evening. This is the end of our services. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 14 : Departure from Kathmandu.
