Day 1 : Arrival At Kolkata

Location: Kolkata

On the day of arrival at Kolkata airport, our UncleSam Holidays representative will assist you at airport for transfer to your hotel for night stay. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 2 : At Kolkata

Location: Kolkata

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Kolkata, visit Victoria Memorial Palace, Science City, Metro Rail, Belur Math, Mother Teresa Home, China Town and the Vidyasagar Setu. In the evening time take a leisurely walk to local market of Kolkata.

Day 3 : Kolkata - Guwahati (By Flight) - Kaziranga (200 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Location: Kaziranga

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out and transfer to Kolkata airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, our representative will meet you and later drive to Kaziranga. Upon arrival at Kaziranga check in your hotel for night stay. Evening free to nature walk around the hotel.

Day 4 : At Kaziranga National Park

Location: Kaziranga

Today early morning proceed to discover the wildlife of Kaziranga by jeep or elephant-back. The park contains about 15 species of India's threatened mammals and harbours the world's largest population of Indian Rhinoceros and Indian Elephant, Wild Asian Water Buffalo, Eastern Swamp Deer, Capped Langur, Golden Langur, Hoolock Gibbon (the only ape found in India). Other mammals include tigers and leopards. Later back to your hotel and referesh yourself to enjoy afternooon safari you can also take some amazing wildlife pictures.

Day 5 : Kaziranga - Guwahati (200 Kms / 5 Hrs) - Bagdogra (By Fight) - Darjeeling (65 Kms / 2:30 Hrs)

Location: Darjeeling

Accommodation: Hotel

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out from hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, board a flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, our representative will meet you and later drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival at Darjeeling check-in to your hotel for night stay. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 6 : At Darjeeling

Today early morning visit to Tiger Hills (8364 ft / 2550 Mts at around 04 Am) to view fetching sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather) later drive back to hotel en-route visit to Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Darjeeling, visit Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan refugee self help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 7 : Darjeeling - Phuentsholing (200 Kms / 6:30 Hrs)

Location: Phuentsholing

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out from hotel and drive to Phuentsholing (Bhutan Border). Upon arrival at Phuentsholing check in your hotel for night stay. Relax at hotel or day free to leisure activities.

Day 8 : Phuentsholing - Thimphu (176 Kms / 4:30 Hrs)

Location: Thimphu

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out from hotel and drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival at Thimphu check in your hotel for night stay. Later take gradual walks to the nearby streets. Visit local markets, enjoy street food, and communicate with local people, etc.

Day 9 : At Thimphu

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Thimphu, visit Tashichhodzong, BBS Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point, Folk heritage, national textile museums, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (out side view) and Zoo. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 10 : Thimphu - Paro (65 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Location: Paro

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for full day guided tour to Paro, visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong) followed by a leisurely walk to visit Rinpung Dzong. Later afternoon, visit the Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress where Bhutanese deterred several invasions by Tibetan armies also visit the traditional farm house for a meeting with local people. Evening, pay a visit to the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan.

Day 11 : Departure From Paro

  • How much luggage can I bring?

    You can bring one suitcase per person and weight not exceeding 23 kg (50 lbs) due to the limited space on the coach. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, provided it is small enough to take on the coach and does not have telescopic handles.

  • Are the travel guides experience?

    Our Travel Guides come from a variety of backgrounds but they all share a passion for travel. These experienced professionals show you what the guidebooks can’t – a true insider’s perspective of each destination. Each Travel Guide have at least five years’ experience under their belt.

  • What if I have special dietary requirements?

    We can accommodate guests who are vegetarian and can assist with diabetic, gluten-free and other medically-recommended diets. Please advise us at time of booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to supply meals in accordance with strict religious requirements. We can’t provide salt-free, Kosher, Halal, requests for specific dietary supplements such as soya milk, and high protein or low-carb meals.

  • Will I need a visa?

    You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your guided holiday. Depending on your nationality, you may need visas to enter certain countries included on your trip. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to your departure. It is strongly advised that you consult your Travel Agent and the local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them.
