This 9-day tour takes you through a fascinating journey across India, starting with your arrival in New Delhi. Explore the vibrant capital on Day 2 before heading to Agra, home to the majestic Taj Mahal, on Day 3. After visiting Agra, you’ll continue to the historic Fatehpur Sikri before boarding an overnight train to Umaria on Day 4. Upon arrival, travel to Bandhavgarh, a renowned wildlife sanctuary, and enjoy two full days of wildlife experiences and exploration. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit the Qutub Minar and drive past the Lotus Temple. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb, followed by a drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate. After lunch at a local city restaurant, continue your Old Delhi sightseeing tour with visits to Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, and a drive past the Red Fort. You will also take a short rickshaw ride through the Chandni Chowk spice market.

New Delhi - Agra (220 Kms / 3.30 Hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Agra, the "City of Love." Upon arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. After refreshing yourself, proceed for a guided tour of Agra, visiting the Agra Fort (Moti Masjid, Octagonal Tower, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas) and Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb. You will also visit Mehtab Bagh for a stunning sunset view of the Taj Mahal. After your tour, you are free to shop or return to your hotel for the night.

:
Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Umaria (By Night Train)

Early in the morning, visit the world’s most popular and beautiful monument, the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). After your guided tour of the Taj Mahal, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, proceed for a guided tour of Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1571, made of red sandstone. Visit the Tomb of Salim Chisti, Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i-Khas, and Panch Mahal. After the tour, return to Agra, check out from the hotel, and transfer to Agra railway station to board the night train to Umaria.

Arrival at Umaria - Bandhavgarh (30 Kms / 1 Hr)

Upon arrival at Umaria railway station, our representative will assist you and transfer you to Bandhavgarh. Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, check in at your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. After lunch at the hotel, proceed for a visit to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, as well as white tigers, leopards, and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees, and grassland is home to a variety of bird species, including eagles. Enjoy taking wildlife photographs during the safari/game drive.

Early in the morning, before breakfast, proceed for a jungle safari at the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers and other animals, including white tigers, leopards, and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees, and grassland is home to various bird species, including eagles. After the morning game drive, return to the hotel for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time. After lunch, proceed for another safari/game drive in the park. You can take amazing wildlife photographs during the safari. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

What are the coaches like?
We pride ourselves on having the finest fleet of fuel-efficient, fully air-conditioned coaches – all with reclining seats and on-board restrooms. The high vantage point from your coach’s window means you can take in all the glorious scenery, whether it’s a vast rural landscape or an urban city center.
Will the accommodation included meet local health and safety regulations?
We select our hotels for their quality, impeccable service and comfort, with the majority of them having air-conditioning. Few hotels don't have air conditioning due to the colder climate.
How much luggage can I bring?
You can bring one suitcase per person and weight not exceeding 23 kg (50 lbs) due to the limited space on the coach. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, provided it is small enough to take on the coach and does not have telescopic handles.
Are the travel guides experience?
Our Travel Guides come from a variety of backgrounds but they all share a passion for travel. These experienced professionals show you what the guidebooks can’t – a true insider’s perspective of each destination. Each Travel Guide have at least five years’ experience under their belt.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
We can accommodate guests who are vegetarian and can assist with diabetic, gluten-free and other medically-recommended diets. Please advise us at time of booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to supply meals in accordance with strict religious requirements.
We can’t provide salt-free, Kosher, Halal, requests for specific dietary supplements such as soya milk, and high protein or low-carb meals.
Will I need a visa?
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your guided holiday. Depending on your nationality, you may need visas to enter certain countries included on your trip. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to your departure. It is strongly advised that you consult your Travel Agent and the local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend that all guests have a travel insurance policy to ensure your peace of mind before and while travelling. It's important that you protect yourself in case of trip cancellations, an interruption for any reason, baggage delays or loss of baggage and medical expenses.
