Departure from Salta to San Antonio de los Cobres (3.650 masl) to spend the night as a first day of acclimatization. On our way to Ingeniero Maury we will do the first trekking to start adapting to the altitude.

We will start the ascent in the early hours of the morning, reaching the summit at noon (5.486 masl). We will enjoy its amazing view, have lunch and then we return to the base, after we pack the load and equipment on the vehicles, we will start our return to San Antonio de los Cobres.

Head to Tolar Grande in the morning, passing through Abra “Chorrillo”, the mining town of Olacapato and the Salar de Pocitos, to enter the Colorados, a simulated Marth scape. Arrival at Tolar Grande in the afternoon. Free afternoon to hike the surroundings. Night of acclimatization in Tolar Grande.
